QMA-2501
Speaks...
Yes, Cedarapids' HMA control system now talks to your plant
operator. It is no longer enough for automation systems to
trigger a beeper and expect an operator to find and read a text
message. This wastes time and results in production loss.
Why should an operator be forced to stop what he/she is doing and walk
over to look at a critical temperature display? All QMA-2501 Hot
Mix Asphalt plant automation systems now come standard with several
"narrator" features your operators will quickly find indispensable.
In fact, operators will quickly grow accustomed to the familiar voice
that allows them to roam more freely and take care of your
customers. This means more production from your plant.
Each of some 300+ alarm messages is spoken aloud to the plant operator
as they occur. When making hot mix, the mix temperature is
spoken aloud at time intervals you specify. Voices are
customizable by male/female, speed, and pitch and can be disabled at
any time by the operator. Contact your local Cedarapids Sales
representative about this and other impressive features found in
QMA-2501 from Cedarapids. (updated

QMA-2501 Adopts Metric(SI) Units
Cedarapids'
workhorse HMA control system continues to receive new
features. Recently we completed the adoption of Metric(SI)
units into our QMA2501 control system for HMA plants. In
doing so we provided "on-the-fly" switching of all
on-screen displays and printed documentation to/from customary
English units and Metric units independently in four basic
categories. These categories include Mass, Temperature,
Pressure, and Volume. (more)
The primary user
for Metric(SI) units will be New York State plants both old and
new, where a deadline has been set for Jan 1, 2003 for full
adoption.
